Gehl Industries, also known simply as Gehl, was a manufacturer of heavy equipment based in West Bend, Wisconsin, United States. The company was founded in 1859 by Louis Lucas, initially as a blacksmith shop. Over the years, Gehl evolved into producing a range of equipment including skid steer loaders, compact excavators, telescopic handlers, and asphalt pavers.
