The Genie Runabout is the perfect machine for navigating tight indoor spaces. We always have these little guys in stock, and they can be used for a number of jobs. They are similar to a scissor lift but smaller, as they only hold one person in their basket. Like the scissor lifts, they run on a 24-volt system, so 4 6-volt golf cart batteries.

At Above All Equipment Sales, we always have a great selection of aerial lifts that are perfect for your job site. One of our bread and butter machines are 19-foot scissor lifts, which we always have new and reconditioned in stock.

Popular Scissor Lifts at Above All

We sell the most popular and reputable brand scissor lifts, such as Genie and Skyjack. 19 footers are also just an extremely popular footprint for scissor lift because they are narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway.

  • They are 30 to 32 inches wide and 19 feet tall.
  • They all have a 24-volt charging system
  • They take four 6-volt batteries (golf cart batteries that you can buy somewhere like Costco)

Lead Times for Scissor Lifts

Although these scissor lifts are always available, lead time can vary from one week to three weeks, depending on the time of year and your location.

The JCB 520 Telehandler

The JCB 520 is a very popular telehandler because of its size. It is a compact telehandler typically referred to as a yard dog. Smaller telehandlers are great because they can be used indoors and outdoors with our having any troubles navigating tight spaces.

Smaller telehandlers are also great for easy transportation. You can even use a pickup truck to mover the JCB 520.

JCB 520 Specs.

  • The JCB 520 weighs close to 11,000 pounds.
  • Its reach is almost 17 feet.
  • The capacity is 4,600 pounds, which is a little less than other telehandlers of its size.

JCB vs. Genie Telehandlers

The JCB 520 is very comparable to the Genie 5519 telehandler in regards to size and specs. However, the Genie has a little bit more reach and capacity. Though they are similar, they both do a great job in most situations.

Which one is better for you? That just depends on what you and your crew are used to using and if you need that little extra reach or not.

If you have any questions about the JCB 520, the Genie 5519, or any of our machines, please contact us today! We can help you find the equipment you need to get the job done every time, for the right price.

At Above All Equipment Sales, we sell new and reconditioned scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers. One of our most popular telehandlers is the Genie 5519 for a few reasons.

Why is the Genie 5519 so Popular?

The Genie 5519 has been in production for about 15 or so years now, which means that there are plenty of new and used machines on the market. At Above All Equipment, we sell both new and reconditioned Genie 5519’s.

Most customers go with the reconditioned telehandlers because it is essentially a new machine for a fraction of the cost.

The biggest benefit to the Genie 5519 is that it is extremely lightweight. It weighs less than 10,000 pounds. Because of its lightweight design, the Genie 5519 can be towed by a large pickup truck. That makes this machine super easy to move from job site to job site without having to invest in a more heavy-duty transportation truck.

What is the Lift and Weight Capacity for the Genie 5519?

The most weight that this telehandler can lift is up to 5,500 pounds, which is still a lot for such a lightweight machine. It can also reach heights up to 19 feet in the air. This is how Genie names all of their telehandlers, “Genie weight/height capacity” therefore, you have the Genie 5519.

Why Choose Above All?

When looking to buy a new or reconditioned telehandler, boom lift, or scissor lift, it is important to go to someone who has experience and selection. We have a birds-eye view of machines all over the country that we can get to you. We also have years of experience buying and selling these machines.
